05.06.07 a nice walk

tonight i went on a nice walk between about 7:30 and 8:45. it was about 60 degrees...a little cool but it will be hot soon enough so i will try to enjoy it. the sun was going down. there were no clouds so not a dramatic sunset. but these pictures show the changing light.

I love this building next to the castle. It's closed for renovations.

Running- Cinco de Mayo

Alan ran about 14 miles today around Silverwood Lake. (I wonder which shoes he wore?)
Janie walked and ran for about 2 hours around the National Mall.

a few pictures from my walk/run today. i have been cooped up and i was ready to run. i really enjoyed running hard up the hill to the capitol.
we are expecting rain so the clouds were really good tonight....I couldn't resist taking pictures of the clouds, the flowers, and one of my favorite targets....the capitol.

i plotted my route on the google ped site and found i ran/walked about 3 miles.
