I was so happy that today was my day to "run". I took my running stuff to work so I could walker longer before dark and so I stuffed all my things in the backpack. It was so nice to be out…I was a little worried I would be too cold…I had a turtleneck and sweatshirt and slicky exercise pants…gloves but I forgot the ear warmers….actually I think I’m too vain to wear that in public…in the neighborhood it’s okay.
Anyway I walked briskly to the mall from the office then ran/walked toward the Washington and turned back toward the Capitol. I like running on the gravel walks. I think the backpack was a little hard on the knees…not bad but I could tell the difference. When I got home I weighted the backpack and it weighted about 12 pounds…that’s probably too much for me to start with. I’ll have to figure out how to pack lighter. I had my camera in my pocket and so it jiggled a little…but I had a great time.
Weather: I think about 38-40ish…the weather is becoming less of a factor.
Interesting sightings: just a pretty sunset and the moon was crisp and clear.
