I planned to run after the Library of Congress on Saturday…I figured that it would be warmer (I’m such a weather wimp) around 1:00 or 2:00. The weather guy on TV said it was going to be cold and windy and the wind would get worse as the day went on. So I decided to get up and go. My destination was the titanic statue at the waterfront.(I'll try to post the picture but if not... http://www.pottsoft.com/home/titanic/womens_memorial.html I wonder if this was the inspiration for Leonardo DiCaprio on the bow of the titanic in the movie.)
Anyway I was determined so I bundled up and walk/ran to the titanic statue and back in exactly 33 minutes. With a goal of 30 minutes/outing I guess I reach my goal. The running felt good…the wind didn’t. The weather man was right this time; the wind got worse as the day went by. and today it is snowing...I’ll post a photo.
