Shoe Day

Today is MKL Day so I took some time to go up to Adam's Morgan for new running shoes from Fleet Feet (a running store) my runner friends (and the articles I read) said getting good shoes is step one. I will post a picture of my really comfortable Saucony's. It was the best shoe shopping experience I’ve ever had…(except maybe that really great sale at Stein Mart in Layton). The guy who was helping me is the father of the conservative looking new mayor of DC; the dad, with lots of earrings and bracelets, is really a pro at fitting shoes. He looked at my well worn shoes and my feet and pulled out a few pairs of shoes. When I tried them on he said go out side and run to the corner and back....that makes so much sense.
